Overview

We have a relatively new fleet of snowmobiles, work trucks, loaders, snowcats and more to grow your mechanics’ career path. Do you dream about working in a shop with the latest tools and technology? Our Valley Shop is located at the base of our mountain. We offer a generous yearly tool allowance, training opportunities and our on-site parts department have a large inventory to help get the work done efficiently. Compensation Information: $41.51 - $43.53 per hour

Physical Requirement: Medium; work activities involve handling loads up to 20kg; predominantly in an indoor setting.

Accountabilities
  • Prioritize work during the supervisor’s absence (usually two days a week).
  • Help maintain work orders and maintenance records as directed
  • Assist with promoting safety as the number one priority
  • Report and rectify any unsafe situation.
  • Maintenance and repair of mobile equipment as directed.
  • Keep a clean, organized, safe work environment.
  • Assist with the expedition of emergency parts orders during the manager’s absence
  • Maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service to all departments.
  • Duties as required to ensure successful operation of the department, including support of other departments and special promotions
Ideal Candidate
  • Understands and works towards departments and company’s goals and objectives
  • Self-motivated, mature, requires minimum supervision and works well with others, able to lead by example, willing and able to work outdoors and in all weather conditions
  • Ability to operate snowmobiles, ATVs and 4x4 trucks and other powered equipment in a safe and responsible manner
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work with others
  • Ability to think quickly and follow all safety procedures
  • Working knowledge of current WSBC regulations
