Overview

Position Title : Auto Parts Store Junior Counterperson

Location : London, ON

Type of Employment : Full-time permanent

Compensation : $18.00-20.00 per hour based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package

Hours :

  • Tuesday to Friday 7 : 30 am to 4 : 30 pm
  • Saturday 8 : 00 am to 12 : 00 pm
  • Additional hours may be available / required based on business needs

Position Summary

The individual will also pick, pack, ship, receive, stock and organize automotive parts. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality customer service and assist customer inquiries both in-person and over the phone using automotive knowledge, company database and parts catalogue
  • Answer inbound calls and ensure all calls are answered in a professional manner
  • Conduct follow-up calls to customers as necessary
  • Complete necessary paperwork (e.g. warranty forms) in an accurate manner
  • Efficiently and safely load auto parts into delivery vehicles
  • Maintain overall store appearance by cleaning and organizing on a regular basis
  • Pick, pack, ship, receive, stock, and organize auto parts when necessary
  • Other reasonable duties as assigned by the management team
Key Requirements and Experiences
  • Automotive aftermarket parts knowledge / experience (customer service, sales, repair) preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills (e.g. ability to use and navigate Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel, online database and web-based training)
  • Basic mathematical skills and understanding of basic units of measurement
  • Ability to sort items alphanumerically

Physical Demands and Work Environment
