Job Title: Audio Visual Technician – Install & Sales

As we continue to grow, we're seeking a skilled and customer-focused Audio Visual Technician to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Audio Visual Technician with strong technical knowledge and a passion for customer service. This role combines hands-on installation work with sales responsibilities, offering a unique opportunity to influence both the technical and client-facing sides of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation & Technical Work:
    • Install, configure, and troubleshoot AV equipment including Sound Systems, control systems, conferencing solutions, Security systems and more.
    • Pull cable, terminate connectors, mount hardware, and ensure all systems are functional and meet client expectations.
    • Conduct system tests and calibrations, ensuring high-performance delivery.
    • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
    • Prepare quotes and assist in developing proposals and project scopes.
    • Upsell additional services or equipment where appropriate.
    • Maintain documentation, system diagrams, and service records.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in AV installation or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of AV systems, wiring, control interfaces, and signal flow.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; sales experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in various job site conditions.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CTS or other industry certifications.
  • Familiarity with brands such as Control4, QSC, Shure, and similar.
  • Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, routers, switches).
