Overview
The Associate Manager, Strategic Revenue Growth Management plays a critical role in supporting the development and execution of pricing and promotional strategies that drive balanced and profitable growth. Reporting to the Manager, SRGM, this individual will partner closely with cross functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Finance, to help shape channel and pack price architecture, support innovation launches, and contribute to the evolution of performance-based trade management. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential to effectively translate complex data into actionable recommendations for internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Marketing team through the development of pricing strategies for new launches by incorporating benchmarks, consumer responsiveness, and retailer expectations to ensure long-term sustainability
- Partner with the Sales teams to conduct quarterly promotional reviews, recommending opportunities to improve ROI while also balancing market share and profitability
- Create promotional guidelines, taking into consideration channel and pack price architecture to minimize marketplace disruption
- Monitor competitive pricing, market trends, pricing compliance, and net price realization to ensure alignment with business goals
- Develop and implement standardized monthly KPI reporting and performance management processes
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience, Skills & Knowledge Required
- 3+ years of progressive experience in CPG/FMCG, with a strong background in trade strategy, revenue growth management, or commercial analytics
- Problem-solving mindset, intellectual curiosity, and strong critical thinking skills
- Strong analytical skills, with proven ability to synthesize multiple data sources and develop independent insights and recommendations
- Advanced technical skills, including proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, Tableau, and syndicated data platforms (e.g., Nielsen, Customer POS)
- Strong communication and presentation skills; able to translate complex revenue management insights into clear, actionable recommendations for cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with SAP and TPM systems is an asset
