Responsibilities
  • Review, verify and approve small claims through the claims process by assessing the application against coverage, reviewing data for completeness, researching and investigating discrepancies, and calculating program benefits in accordance with Agricorp’s policies and best practices.
  • Identify and escalate high‑risk issues to senior team members.
  • Contribute to the success of the team by monitoring and reporting trends and emerging issues in claims file experiences.
  • Provide technical guidance to agents and producers related to Agricorp's suite of programs.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with producers and agents.
What You Bring
  • Post‑secondary degree or college diploma in finance, business, commerce, economics, agriculture or related field, or equivalent experience; additional training in accounting, risk analysis/risk management, or financial analysis is an asset.
  • 1–2 years of experience in claims or risk adjudication, preferably in the financial services or agricultural sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly to diverse groups, including clients, brokers, agents and other professionals.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Agricultural knowledge is an asset.
