Assistant Service Manager - Full-Time

FFUN Motorsports Winnipeg East

Are you the type of person who thrives on keeping things running like a well-oiled machine (literally)? We’re on the hunt for an Assistant Service Manager who can bring energy, organization and a customer-first attitude to our fast-paced Service Department. You’ll be the right-hand to our Service Manager helping drive productivity, profitability and an awesome work environment for our crew—and keeping our customers smiling.

What you’ll be doing
  • Be the Service Manager’s go-to partner in daily operations.
  • Deliver prompt, reliable, and top-quality vehicle service to both internal and external customers.
  • Keep an eagle eye on profitability, ensuring the department hits targets for both gross and net profit.
  • Supercharge the productivity of our service technicians.
  • Keep our service team alert, trained and ready to roll.
  • Match jobs to technicians based on skill and resource availability.
  • Check work-in-progress to ensure quality and timing goals are met.
  • Jump in to help technicians troubleshoot tricky service jobs.
  • Prepare accurate repair estimates for internal jobs and wreck repairs.
  • Set up and follow clear processes for handling all repair orders—customer-paid, warranty, or internal.
  • Work with the Parts Manager to ensure technicians have what they need when they need it.
  • Master the service and parts management computer system.
  • Maintain a service area that’s clean, organized and efficient.
What we’re looking for
  • A natural leader who knows how to inspire a team.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle service operations (you speak mechanic and customer fluently).
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Cool under pressure with top-notch problem-solving skills.
  • Solid computer skills and experience with service/parts management systems.
  • You must have a valid driver’s license.
