Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Food Hall Manager, the Food Hall Assistant Manager is responsible for asset management of the entire restaurant and demonstrating an entrepreneurial approach to identifying and acting on opportunities and challenges to maximize the business's full potential in the market.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve F&B objectives by contributing to strategic planning processes with the Food Hall Manager.
- Work with the Food Hall Manager to develop and implement project plans and priorities supporting Hard Rock's current and future direction.
- Create expectations, lead people, manage processes, and hold team members accountable for activities and timetables to ensure excellent guest service.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate training and performance management programs.
- Train, supervise, coach, and counsel staff. Participate in the induction of new staff members into Hard Rock culture.
- Conduct meetings with staff to communicate incentive programs, introduce new products and procedures, and discuss opportunities, events, etc.
- Respond to and resolve all guest concerns via live interactions, phone, and email.
- Coordinate with Shipping and Receiving to manage inventory and the flow of goods.
- Conduct regular inventories, manage controls, and ensure food & beverage cost margins meet budgeted goals.
- Maintain updated information on menus, prices, recipes, etc.
- Ensure accurate and complete reporting.
- Review and develop guest history records to enhance personalized service for repeat guests.
- Control all hard keys and electronic access required for department operations.
- Monitor cash handling, credit card totals, and deposit slips for accuracy.
- Inspect product levels and storage areas to ensure adequate supply.
- Collaborate with other departments as needed to accomplish tasks.
- Perform duties in accordance with company standards, policies, guidelines, and legal requirements, ensuring team compliance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Food Hall Manager.

Qualifications
- Any combination of education, training, or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree.
- Minimum 2 years managing food & beverage and hospitality industry experience.
- Deep understanding of guest services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
