Job description
Job Title: Restaurant Manager at Firehouse Subs

This position is fully accountable for the profitable operation of a Firehouse Subs Restaurant while adhering to all company guidelines and regulations.

  1. Compliance: Ensure the restaurant complies with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health, wage and hour, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, and other legal requirements.
  2. Policy Enforcement: Ensure knowledge, adherence, and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
  3. Profitability: Maintain business profitability by managing shifts within established guidelines for food cost, labor, controllables, utilities, and sales growth.
  4. Leadership: Provide leadership to the restaurant team to meet standards of guest service, quality, and cleanliness, while embracing Firehouse Subs' culture, mission, and vision.
  5. Operations Support: Assist the GM in implementing current operations plans and company initiatives efficiently and profitably.
  6. Staffing: Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining employees under the guidance of the GM.
  7. Reporting: Ensure all required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate, complete, and submitted on schedule.
  8. Community Engagement: Implement and promote all Public Safety Foundation initiatives.

Additional Responsibilities: Represent Firehouse Subs professionally at all times, communicate effectively with the GM/Owner about issues impacting the business, and perform any other duties assigned by the GM/Owner.

Physical Requirements: Able to work on your feet for up to 13 hours, lift up to 50 lbs.
