Through collaborative leadership hands‑on coaching and daily team engagement you’ll help build a high‑performing department where team members feel supported and customers feel welcomed.   • Deliver warm confident and engaging customer service that reflects Farm Boys commitment to the best fresh shopping experience.
  • Work closely with the Department Manager to execute departmental strategies and achieve stated goals and performance objectives.
  • Support team development through training coaching motivation and recognition while maintaining a high level of trust, confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Lead regular team huddles to share goals recognize achievements exchange product knowledge and provide meaningful feedback to build engagement and connection.
  • Support daily operations by ensuring outstanding customer service, accurate merchandising and rotation, adequate staffing coverage and consistent department cleanliness.
  • Provide office and administrative support including inventory management, ordering, invoicing, schedule maintenance and payroll functions.
  • Promote compliance with all Safe Food Handling and Health & Safety policies, procedures and provincial regulations to maintain a safe and high‑quality shopping environment.
  • Contribute to store success by assisting with other related duties as required.
Qualifications

  • A genuine passion for delivering engaging and exceptional customer service.
  • Completion of a post‑secondary program with an emphasis in business plus a minimum of 1 year of progressively responsible supervisory or management experience in a similar role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast‑paced dynamic environment by effectively managing competing priorities while maintaining a high level of performance.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills supported by a clear professional communication style.
  • Comfort learning and using manual and automated systems with prior experience working with a variety of computer software programs.
  • Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule including evenings weekends and holidays.
  • Fluency in English; French language skills considered an asset.
