Amazon Canada Fulfillment Services is hiring an Area Manager at its DON8 fulfillment center in Scarborough, ON. This leadership role is ideal for motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to make a direct impact on operations, safety, and customer satisfaction.

As an Area Manager, you’ll oversee a team of hourly associates, drive performance standards, and ensure packages reach Amazon customers on time while maintaining safety and quality.

The Area Manager leads daily operations within the fulfillment network, balancing productivity, quality, and customer delivery expectations. You’ll collaborate with support teams across Safety, HR, Engineering, and Quality to meet business goals, while mentoring and motivating your team for success.

This is a hands‑on leadership position requiring flexibility, problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to creating a positive, high‑performance culture.

📍 Location: Scarborough, ON (DON8 Fulfillment Center)

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate hourly associates to meet operational goals.
  • Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery standards.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Safety, HR, Engineering, QA, Loss Prevention).
  • Support Amazon’s customer promise by maintaining order accuracy and on‑time performance.
  • Perform physical tasks: lifting up to 49 lbs, standing/walking for 12‑hour shifts, and working in varied temperatures.
  • Adapt to changing operational needs including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, OR 2+ years of Amazon (FTE/blue badge) experience.
  • 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Preferred: 1+ years of experience with performance metrics, lean techniques, or process improvement.
