Responsibilities
  • Disassemble and reassemble the equipment for repair or transportation.
  • Build new industrial and construction machinery.
  • Reading diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
  • Maintaining and installing all electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumaticsystems.
  • Review and interpret engineering specifications, schematics, and blueprints to determine work procedures.
  • Repair broken or defective machine parts, using welding and brazing tools.
  • Performing careful inventory and stock checks, and placing orders for required material and equipment.
  • Transfer equipment to the applicable site for maintenance to avoid contamination or safety hazards.
  • Ensuring all procedures and processes adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Determine which machines, techniques, and tools to use when moving equipment and completing jobs.
