Responsibilities
- Managing the department they have been assigned by the bank
- Preparing and processing financial documents such as bills, receipts, and invoices
- Keep records of the daily transactions that take place
- Updating and maintaining the database, financial records, and filing systems
- Coordinate with other departments
- Tracking and monitoring financial transactions
- Make daily report for the departmental heads
- Reviewing financial records, documents, and information to ensure their accuracy
- Help all the customers that come to the department with any problem
- Performing account reconciliations and audits
- Make correct calculations and stay updated on the latest banking practices
- Reporting financial discrepancies, errors, and customer complaints to the supervisor
- Correspond with the customers through letters and e-mails
- Compiling financial spreadsheets, reports, statements, and other documents, as needed
- Report the discrepancies to the proper authorities
- Providing customer service by answering questions and resolving queries and issues
- Balance all the accounts during financial year end as this is the busiest time for all bank employees
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or similar
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a financial clerk
- CPA certification is advantageous
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software such as Quick books, Xero, and Sage
- Excellent financial and mathematical skills.
- Good understanding of financial and bookkeeping processes and practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Benefits
Salary: $46.15 - $68.00 per hour
