Responsibilities

What can you expect in this role?

Reporting to the Director, Sales & Distribution – Direct Channels, this role will be responsible for executing the day-to-day operational activities of the Sonnet Sales & Distribution team. This includes partnership evaluation & onboarding for Sonnet’s Affinity business, evaluating and monitoring new & existing sales channels and initiatives, partner reporting and administration. The role can collaborate with Sales & Distribution leaders, as well as marketing, finance, analytics, legal, communications, technology and customer care.

  • Partnership Evaluation & Onboarding : Review and evaluate new partner opportunities to support growth of Sonnet’s Affinity business. Responsible for operational set-up / onboarding of new partners through collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Evaluating and Monitoring Sales Channels : Monitor and report on results for the assisted sales channel, additional revenue generation activities, as well as aggregator channels. Process invoices and allocations for external vendors and partners.
  • Partner Reporting & Group Administration : Prepare and deliver regular partner reports and annual payments; Track and analyze scheduled partner marketing efforts and assess their impact; Support the administration and analysis requirements of the Affinity business, including eligibility validation, group scoring, renewal tracking, updating group lists, documenting approvals, tracking business development targets, RFP monitoring and Salesforce audits; Ensuring compliance and best practices are followed by Sonnet Sales & Distribution; Ad-hoc administrative support for Sonnet Sales & Distribution.

What do you bring to the role?

  • University degree in any discipline, or College diploma in a relevant discipline
  • 2-4 years’ experience in an operational role in insurance or financial services. Preference will be given to candidates with insurance experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous activities by using effective planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to collaborate cross functionally
Salary

Salary Range : $50,200 - $92,500

Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market. In addition to base pay, eligible employees may participate in various incentive plans which are paid out at the discretion of the company and subject to individual and company performance.
