As an Analyst, Operations Finance , you will play a key role in shaping the luxury lifestyle shopping experience by driving financial insight and strategic support across the business. Responsible for consolidating the budgeting and forecasting cycles and analyzing operational performance, you will help influence decisions that enhance Holt Renfrew’s financial results and elevate our customer experience. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally and drive meaningful change within a dynamic retail environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong partnerships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization, including senior leadership and cross-divisional team management.

  • Prepare OPEX budgets and forecasting models, integrating historical trends, business drivers, and divisional plans into cohesive financial outlooks.

  • Provide clear, actionable insights through monthly variance analysis and commentary on actuals vs. b udget .

  • E nhance financial reporting frameworks, KPIs, and performance dashboards to monitor business performance and support data-driven decision-making .

  • Assist with the month-end close process byreviewing and validating accruals , ensuring accuracy and facilitating timely communication with key stakeholders.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, and models that enhance planning and forecasting activities.

  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support the evaluation of new initiatives, operational optimizations, and strategic opportunities.

What You Bring:

  • A post-secondary degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.

  • Proven track record with a minimum 2 years of experience in planning and analysis, or a related role ; familiarity in retail or the luxury sector is a plus.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a high level of attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP, IBM Cognos, and/or Power BI is considered an asset.
