Aircraft Preflight Mechanic

Job Description

We have immediate openings for permanent AME M2's within the Pre-Flight Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all operations, including engine runs and functioning tests, from final assembly to customer acceptance. You will also be involved in the aircraft's construction from early development through to final assembly and complete all necessary inspection reports and documents.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all operations, including engine runs and functioning tests, between final assembly and customer acceptance.
  • Perform work related to building an aircraft from early development stages through to final assembly.
  • Complete all necessary inspection reports and documents.
  • Have thorough knowledge of procedures.
Requirements
  • Transport Canada AME M2 License
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Solid interpersonal skills and professionalism
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Compensation
  • $102,377.76 Yearly Salary
  • 2.00 per hour shift premium (Afternoon & night shifts)
  • Overtime pay after 8 hours daily
  • Overtime pay on Saturday shifts
  • Double time pay on Sunday shifts
  • Pension/ RRSP
  • Full Medical & Dental benefits
  • May be eligible for Travel Allowance premium up to $150 daily
Location and Work Details

Workplace Type: Fully onsite in Mississauga, ON.

Work Environment: Permanent off-shift position, with afternoon or night shifts from Monday to Friday.
