Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Aircraft Mechanics to join our team and work primarily on Q400 aircraft. As part of a crew of 5-6 mechanics, you will focus on heavy maintenance tasks, which comprise 80% of the workload, with the remaining 20% dedicated to line checks. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the aircraft's optimal performance, including potential engine replacements. This position involves collaborating with permanent employees and moving between planes airside.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy maintenance and line checks on Q400 aircraft.

• Collaborate with a team of 5-6 mechanics and permanent employees.

• Conduct aircraft repairs, inspections, and maintenance as needed.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

• Drive vehicles between planes within the airport grounds.

Essential Skills

• Aircraft maintenance and repair expertise.

Work Environment

You will work within a multicultural team of 5-6 members on airport grounds, with potential assignments in a hanger. The work environment is not unionized. The dress code requires steel-toe shoes and work pants. The shift rotation can be 5,5,4 or Monday to Friday, depending on project needs, with work hours from 5 AM to 5 PM or 6 AM to 6 PM. Flexibility to work both day and night shifts is expected.
