Role Description

Heli Source Ltd. is seeking a full-time Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team in a hybrid capacity, combining onsite work at our Red Deer, AB location with remote work. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on our fleet of helicopters and other aircraft. Day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring aircraft airworthiness, troubleshooting and rectifying system issues, documenting maintenance activities, and adhering to regulatory compliance. This role plays a critical part in guaranteeing the safety and operational efficiency of our fleet.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Aircraft Maintenance and expertise in maintaining rotorcraft systems
  • In-depth knowledge of Aircraft Systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and address complex mechanical and technical issues
  • Understanding of Airworthiness standards and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Ability to perform meticulous inspections and document maintenance work accurately
  • Relevant certifications or licensing (Transport Canada AME License) required
  • Previous experience with Bell 206, MD500, or Airbus AS350 helicopters is an asset
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Commitment to ensuring the highest safety standards
