Description

Shipco Transport (Canada) Inc., a leading International Cargo Transportation Company, is expanding the Air Freight Department located in Mississauga, Ontario and is looking for seasoned Air Freight Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all Air Import/Export Freight activities, including quotation, booking, documentation, data entry, shipment tracking and tracing, billing, arranging deliveries
  • Communicate on a daily basis with airlines, vendors, truckers, customers, warehouse contact, sales representatives and overseas offices
  • Comply with all Canada customs, IATA and Transport Canada regulations and requirements
  • Ensure all documentation, such as invoices, AWB and other related documents for outbound/inbound shipments are completed accurately and forwarded to the appropriate party
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Superior customer service
  • Must have minimum 2 years experience in Air Freight
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada and reside in Ontario
  • IATA DG certification a requirement and TC ACR knowledge an asset
  • Excellent communication with the English language skills both verbal and written
  • Strong computer skills, using MS Office products
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, organize and prioritize work load in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and team player
