Description

Equinox Engineering is seeking a hands‑on AI Automation Developer to design and build practical, AI‑driven internal tools that improve workflows across the organization. This role focuses on delivering production‑ready solutions that integrate into real operational processes rather than exploratory or research‑based development.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to translate operational challenges into working software. Adaptability and the ability to rapidly solve real‑world problems are key expectations of this role. Leveraging modern generative AI technologies alongside full‑stack development practices, comfort using and guiding AI agents as part of the development workflow is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement internal tools using an AI‑first development approach
  • Translate operational requirements into working, maintainable applications
  • Develop backend services, APIs, and user interfaces
  • Combine prompts, logic, validation, and error handling into reliable workflows
  • Integrate solutions with existing systems and databases
  • Collaborate directly with users to iterate and improve tools based on feedback
  • Manage imperfect real‑world inputs and edge cases

The specific work will vary based on business needs and may include development of:
