Position Overview

We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an Aeronautical Components Technician at our head office located in Les Cèdres, near Vaudreuil‑Dorion.

Job Description

The Aeronautical Components Technician reports directly to the Engine and Components Overhaul Shop Manager. He is responsible for the inspection, repair or overhaul of aeronautical components. He ensures that the execution of his tasks is carried out in accordance with the airworthiness standards established by the manufacturer, the Canadian Aviation Regulations as well as those of the company.

Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance activities such as arrival inspections, disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair and assembly of aeronautical components.
  • Keep personal qualifications up to date.
  • Adhere to the standards, procedures and policies established by the company.
  • Use various software and files related to the execution of tasks.
Qualifications
  • Diploma in aircraft mechanical assembly or aircraft maintenance technician diploma (completed or in the process of being completed) OR experience in the overhaul and repair of helicopter components or turboshaft engines.
  • Bilingualism (French and English, spoken and written). As a pan‑Canadian company, bilingualism is required to ensure communications between all bases across the country.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Analytical mind, problem‑solving skills and organizational skills.

Compensation and Work Hours

Location: 1215 Montée‑Pilon, Les Cèdres, QC.
Status: Permanent, full time.
Hours: Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm.
