Administrative assistant to the Chief Financial Officer – post secondary institution for Portage College

Duties and Responsibilities: As per NOC 13110 Administrative assistant – post secondary institution:

· Coordinate the flow of information within the team

· Open and distribute mail and other materials

· Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars and conferences

· Schedule and confirm appointments

· Compile data, statistics and other information

· Oversee the preparation of reports

· Advise senior management

· Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations

· Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems

· Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents

· Provide customer service

· Prepare and maintain progress and other reports

· Maintain accurate records

· Oversee the collection and analysis of data and information

· Assist in budget preparation

· Analyze and interpret data

· Prepare reports

· Coordinate projects and programs

· Compile data to prepare documents

· Prepare draft agendas for meetings and take, transcribe and distribute minutes

· Help with scheduling and workflow
