Overview

Job Summary: ABM College is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our Education team.

Responsibilities
  • Document non-compliance issues and corrective actions taken.
  • Collect data on class performance and recommend adjustments to instructors.
  • Identify potential risks, issues, and areas for improvement within the program and classroom settings.
  • Conduct regular visits to classes to observe and assess performance and instructional quality.
  • Ensure teaching methods align with program standards and compliance policies.
  • Serve as a point of contact for instructors, providing support and assistance when needed.
  • Address instructors' needs and challenges, offering guidance and resources to enhance teaching effectiveness.
  • Oversee the maintenance of accurate attendance records for each class.
  • Responsibilities set by the college.
Qualifications
  • Superior attention to detail, with a focus on data integrity and compliance accuracy.
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Strong moral code and sense of ethics, ensuring integrity in all administrative and compliance activities.
  • Experience with data entry, managing databases, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly explaining compliance requirements to staff and management.
  • Coachable, open to feedback, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Education: post-secondary certificate or diploma in a related field is preferred.

Time: 10:00am–7:00pm
