Job Description
  • Processing of client invoices, tracking of accounts receivable, processing of accounts payable in BossSystems.
  • Maintains payable and receivable accounting files.
  • Keys in, edits, proofreads and finalizes reports and other documents.
  • Sorts material that is to be filed according to filing systems.
  • Classify, code, cross-reference, log and stores records.
  • General office functions; ordering of supplies, cleanliness and function.
  • Maintains and prepares reports from manual or electronic files, inventories, mailing lists and databases.
  • Maintains price lists for contract and general clients.
  • Sort, process and verify applications, receipts, expenditures, forms and other documents.
  • Ensures smooth operation of office equipment and machinery and arranges for any maintenance and repair work.
  • Dispatching of parcels and or documents via established couriers.
  • Answers telephones and direct calls as needed.
  • Provides mutual back-up support to other administrative staff as required.
  • May be assigned and coordinate special or ad hoc projects as needed.
  • Reviews all expense reports and assists with training, enforcing of SGS policies and use oracle software for issuing of expense reports.
  • Provides purchasing guidance for company fleet, lab equipment and inspection supplies.
Qualifications
Education
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or a General Educational Development equivalency (GED).
  • A post-secondary education in a recognized administration /accounting program would be an asset.
Experience
  • 1 - 3 years of previous working experience in an Administrativerelated role.
  • 2 years of previous working experience in an accounting relatedrole.
Additional Information

Salary:$23.00-$24.00/hour
