Job summary

A leading structural integrity company in Burlington is seeking a candidate for a 6-month contract role that may transition to full-time. Responsibilities include client interfacing, HR support, and managing training documentation. Applicants must have strong organizational and communication skills, with post-secondary education in Business Administration preferred. Pay ranges from $25 to $27 per hour.

  • Serve as the main contact for clients and onboarding requirements.

  • Oversee staff training and maintain personnel records.

Job description

The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and have an ability to take initiative, and prioritize daily tasks. A strong ability to take charge and meet deadlines will ensure your success in this multi-faceted role.

Responsibilities
  • Client interface – clearances, onboarding requirements, main contact for clients.
  • Assisting HR team with documentation management and HRIS employee record updating.
  • Assisting with Burlington office inventory, planning staff events, client lunches, etc.
  • Welcoming visitors, providing information, and acting as a point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Management of staff training and development, including maintaining personnel records and training documentation, as well as tracking P.Eng. licenses.
  • Maintaining the training and qualification matrix and procedure training requirement forms. Indoctrination course updates and content review as required.
Qualifications & Skills required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Must be punctual and dependable worker
  • Superior organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, time management skills and interpersonal skills.
Educational Qualification

Post-secondary education in Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and related field experience.

Type of Employment

6-month contract position with the possibility of transitioning to full time role.

Pay Scale

$25 -$27/hr
