Job Overview

Enhancing community care options for Albertans continues to be a key priority for Recovery Alberta. Our goal is to provide high‑quality, diverse community, home, and individual Mental Health and Addiction services and to support the long‑term mental health and wellness of Mental Health and Addiction clients and their families. As a Recovery Worker in the North Zone (Hinton/Jasper) Mental Health and Addiction Services, you will serve clients impacted by the recent Jasper Wildfire or who may have an identified mental illness, working within a Recovery Psychosocial Rehabilitative framework that promotes client respect, autonomy, health, and improved quality of life. Preferred candidates will reside within the Hinton‑Jasper corridor.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients in a client‑focused recovery plan, supporting participation in activities of daily living, recreational and social activities, and educational and employment activities.
  • Work collaboratively with other health and service providers.
  • Carry out assigned tasks under the direction of a regulated health provider.
Qualifications
  • English fluency required.
  • Advanced level of English proficiency.
  • Driver’s license and access to a vehicle (vehicle provided).
  • Completion of a diploma from a post‑secondary program in a related field or equivalent experience.
