The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project purchasing activities to improve margins, negotiate costs, and collaborate with internal teams. A background in purchasing and supply chain management, along with strong Excel skills, is required. Bilingualism in French and English is necessary. This role also involves occasional travel to the United States.
Wabtec North America Services Sourcing team is responsible for Services sourcing activities across the different Wabtec entities in North America region to support Services sales and satisfy customer aftermarket needs.

Project buyer is a real project manager for the purchasing function. Being a key role in the department, the incumbent must be fully adept with the various information systems and Excel.
