Key Functions & Duties

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Verifying, processing or posting payment receipts for goods sold or services rendered.
  • Researching and resolving account invoice discrepancies (with limitations).
  • Maintaining physical records regarding customer payments.
  • Review accounts, client payments, and credit history to manage account balances.
  • Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry to facilitate discussions with customers regarding their account status.
  • Contacting overdue accounts to initiate payment processing.
  • Generating reports and statements for internal use.
  • Uploading invoices for submissions through customer portal for payment as required by customer processes.
  • Daily e-deposit for all companies (Waste and Transfer facilities).
  • Processing of weekly cash bank deposit.
  • Completions of customers credit references requests.
Required Education, Experience & Abilities
  • At least 3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Experience with Trux an asset, but not required, proficient in Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
