Qualifications

• Up to 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation is a plus.
• Experience in preparing T4 and T5 slips is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update government remittances and filings.
• Manage accounts receivable, expenses, accounts payable, and payroll transactions.
• Perform month-end and quarter-end closing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update government remittances and filings, manage accounts receivable, expenses, accounts payable, and payroll transactions.
• Prepare client files.
• Perform month-end and quarter-end closing procedures.
• Maintain, monitor, and reconcile general ledger accounts including cash, bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, receivables, payables, accrued liabilities, intercompany transactions, and system uploads.
• Identify issues, investigate discrepancies, and collaborate with managers or engagement partners to develop solutions.
• Respond to information requests from government entities.
• Work collaboratively within the engagement team.
• Maintain flexibility to travel as needed.

Skills and Experience

• Accounting certification.
• Advanced proficiency in French.
• Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation is a plus.
• Up to 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and processes.
• Experience with accounting software.
• Experience in preparing T4 and T5 slips is an asset.
