Position

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounting Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting activities of the business. The position will own the site financials, including timely and accurate financial results, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, internal controls, and financial forecasts. This role will be a key business partner to help shape and drive strategic execution.

What You\u2019ll Do
  • Own month-end and recurring financial cycle
    • Execute the monthly financial close process, including results analytics, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
    • Lead monthly, quarterly, and long-term financial forecasting cadence.
    • Assist with development of plant budgets including creating and updating the manufacturing standards and period expense budgets.
    • Generate financial reporting, including developing standardized reporting related to production and sales performance.
  • Own Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions, ensuring timely payments and receipts.
  • Manage the third-party administration of payroll activities.
  • Drive outcomes through business partnership
    • Support a lean culture by participating in gemba walks, kaizen events, and value stream mapping sessions, as necessary.
    • Support the identification and implementation of cost reduction opportunities.
  • Ensure effective financials controls
    • Integrate AWI Financial policies and procedures, executing implementation and ensuring compliance.
    • Ensure internal control procedures are in place and followed to manage and minimize financial risk.
    • Maintain inventory control and reconciliation, including ensuring appropriate execution of cycle counts and annual physical inventory counts.
    • Ensure capital projects align with corporate policies and demonstrate appropriate financial returns.
  • Ad hoc analytics to provide visibility to stakeholders and develop projections of future performance.
