Our client is located in North York and is hiring an Accountant for a permanent role.

Responsibilities

• Minimum 5-years experience
• Construction experience is an asset
• Full cycle bookkeeping
• High-level skill in accounting software
• Weekly payroll preparation
• Source deduction, HST, Health tax, WSIB, Union dues
• Liaison with accounting firm and management
• Preparation of monthly financial reports
• Collection of AR and AP and related duties

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting / Finance or Business
• A great attitude and proven ability to be an effective business partner, team player, and collaborator
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Partners at all levels of the organization, with the ability to negotiate and influence to achieve results
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
• Proven track record in multi-tasking and prioritizing large volumes of work
• Strong systems skills including strong Excel knowledge
