Job summary

A reputable insurance firm is seeking a proactive Account Manager to provide exceptional service in a hybrid capacity. This role includes managing client portfolios, preparing policy documents, and addressing client inquiries. Candidates should have a minimum of 1-year experience in Commercial Lines, an active R.I.B.O license, and strong communication skills. This position is integral to supporting client needs within the Transportation sector and offers a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

  • Active R.I.B.O license is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills.

  • Process MVRs, driver abstracts, CVOR checks, and related documentation.

Are you driven to deliver exceptional client service and thrive in a fast-paced insurance environment? My client is looking for a proactive, client-focused Account Manager to join their team, specializing in the Transportation sector. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting their growth by ensuring clients receive top-tier service every day.

Location: Hamilton (Hybrid, 3 days in the office after training)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day servicing of your client portfolio
  • Prepare Certificates of Insurance and policy documents, including renewals, endorsements, and cancellations
  • Process MVRs, driver abstracts, CVOR checks, and related documentation
  • Assist in preparing binders, form letters, and other client communications
  • Handle invoices and maintain accurate client records
  • Review clients’ coverage, exposures, and loss experience to identify risk management needs
  • Support Customer Service Brokers or Producers with inquiries or urgent requests
  • Maintain strong knowledge of client needs and ensure excellent communication with clients, carriers, and colleagues
  • Promptly address questions or concerns regarding policies, coverage, and premiums

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-year experience in Commercial Lines, either with a brokerage or insurance company preferred
  • Active R.I.B.O license
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field (college or university)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and results-driven
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and a collaborative team player
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
