Job Responsibilities:

As an Account Manager, you will play a key role in driving commercial growth across multiple product lines, including Aggregates and Asphalt. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships, optimizing sales strategies, and ensuring seamless coordination between sales, operations, and logistics teams to maximize profitability and market share.

This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional with strong industry knowledge and commercial acumen to contribute to the success of Dufferin Aggregates and Dufferin Asphalt.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive volume and revenue growth across Aggregates and Asphalt, as well as coordination on opportunities with other product lines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, contractors, municipalities, and industry partners.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and market trends, as well as customer needs.
  • Follow pricing strategies and contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with financial and operational objectives.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Develop customer-focused solutions and maintain high service standards.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales or business development within the construction materials industry (Aggregates, Asphalt, RMX, or related sectors).
  • Strong understanding of the Ontario construction market and key customer segments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP systems, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting tools such as SalesForce.
  • Valid G Class driver’s license and willingness to travel within assigned regions.
