A leading fuel and convenience store company is seeking an experienced Account Manager in the Niagara Region. The role focuses on growing a territory of retail accounts and delivering sales growth in fuel and C-store markets. Responsibilities include managing brand execution, developing dealer relationships, and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines. Salary Range: $77,000-$98,500/annum
The Account Manager actively builds a territory of retail accounts to meet or exceed budgeted volumes and contributions. The primary responsibility is to deliver sales growth in fuel and C-store through the utilization of the Dealer Value Proposition. This position owns the sales and marketing efforts to maintain and develop an account base within a defined territory, while building a pipeline of new sites. The position will also be accountable for margin management and cost control to maximize profitability. This role requires a person who can perform under pressure. It is based “in the field” with significant customer interfaces on a regular basis. The AM owns all accounts to be sure they comply with all safety and environmental guidelines and all company brand requirements are adhered to. It is a front-line position that should analyze marketing trends and make recommendations on go-to-market strategies, customer behaviors and changes in a retailer’s financial position. This role leads the need internally and externally, daily and with people from various levels of organizations. The AM is a strong leader that drives legal accountability and has a high financial acumen. The individual is responsible for selling the value of Sunoco and resigning sites is imperative to the growth and success of Sunoco long term.
