Description:

Sani Marc’s Pool and Spa Division is a recognized leader in cold and hot water treatment products and solutions for the Canadian pool and spa industry. We provide a wide range of unique designs and technologies as well as conventional products to our network of specialized retailers. Our innovative products are designed to make treating recreational water easier and to ensure optimal water quality for consumers.

As an Account Manager, you will manage and grow our customer base by providing expert advice, building strong relationships, and promoting our comprehensive range of pool and spa products. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with industry knowledge and a passion for customer success. As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a dedicated and motivated Account Manager to expand our presence in Grand Toronto Area.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepares a sales plan for his/her territory and establishes objectives:
    • For current clients
    • Develops a strategic sales plan for each client based on client type
    • For new clients
    • For new products and concepts
  • Implements sales plans with a strong focus on business development:
    • Solicits new clients
    • Assesses chemical needs of the customer
    • Develops and carries out demos and tests
    • Works with the customer to develop an effective P&S program
    • Establishes sales terms and conditions
    • Promotes and sells new products/concepts as well as current product lines
  • PROF programs (proprietary sanitation program management software):
    • Develops PROF programs
    • Installs PROF systems at clients’ sites
    • Trains and provides support to PROF programs’ users
  • Manages CRM Software:
    • Inputs required data including leads and opportunities
    • Adheres to client visit schedules set by Sani Marc Service standards
    • Completes reports and send to customers in timely manner
    • Manages customer profile in CRM, ensuring it is complete and up-to-date
  • Supports Credit Officer with collection issues
  • Fills out all sales and sales-related documents:
    • Sales Profiles
    • Client profiles
  • Reports to his/her immediate supervisor:
    • All strategic information or problematic issues
    • All unusual requests not in accordance with established procedure
Requirements:

To perform well, you must:

  • Experience and/or training in pool & Spa industry
  • Strong background in outside sales and market development or any other relevant training and/or experience.
  • Completed high school diploma or equivalent
  • Good command of English both spoken and written
  • Great flexibility regarding work schedule
  • Experience in sales;
  • CRM experience preferred;
  • Customer-oriented;
  • Ability to persuade and influence;
  • Autonomous and responsible;
  • Ability to adapt.
