NPC DataGuard is revolutionizing how computers are secured and sold to small and medium business professionals. NPC's industry-first solution alleviates data loss, breaches, and business interruptions with an expert managed solution featuring laptops, desktops, and hybrid tablets that are secured, managed, and monitored for our Clients for one low monthly fee.

We have an immediate job opening for an Account Manager. This role will be responsible for developing sales opportunities selling to a targeted professional market in the small-to-medium business segment. Through consultative sales and Client needs assessments, you will develop new accounts and increase sales in existing accounts.

You are highly self-motivated and proactive in generating your own leads, managing your sales pipeline, and ensuring consistent activity to drive results.

You are organized. A follow-up call is always made on time. Just reaching out to see how your Client is doing is part of your success formula.

You will be responsible for:

  • Proactively generating new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and strategic outreach
  • Developing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline with consistent follow-up and engagement with potential clients
  • Generating and closing opportunities by developing strong client relationships through responsive, knowledgeable, and empathetic conversations with small and medium business owners in professional segments
  • Engaging enthusiastically in new lead development and follow-up and existing account development
  • Providing ongoing client post-sales account satisfaction assessment and development
  • Delivering valuable NPC product and promotional information about NPC products and services using a consultative sales approach
  • Working closely with the NPC team to keep everyone informed of new opportunities to improve the NPC offering, client satisfaction, and to identify new markets
  • Effectively using our CRM tools to track all lead generation and pipeline activities, ensuring visibility and accountability
  • Proactively communicating challenges, roadblocks, and success strategies with leadership to improve performance
  • Exceeding assigned sales targets

Skills, Talents, and Other Requirements:

  • 3-5 years in B2B sales, with a proven ability to generate leads and manage pipelines independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and CRM software to track sales progress and performance metrics
  • A post-secondary degree is helpful, but not essential. Business experience equivalent is accepted
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and managed services is a strong asset
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects and clients simultaneously
  • Demonstrated success in cold calling, lead generation, and pipeline management
  • The role offers a competitive base salary starting at $65,000 - $75,000, commensurate with experience
  • On-target earnings (OTE) of $93,000-$110,000 with uncapped commissions based on performance
  • Generous vacation policy
