What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Identify sales opportunities and promote, pursue, and sell the employer's full line of business and value proposition
- Assist in corporate and territorial promotional efforts as directed by the Manager of Sales and Marketing
- Collaborate effectively with the Manager of Sales and Marketing and other team members to grow business in the territory
- Correspond and communicate with prospective clients to close business and provide ongoing support
- Develop and execute strong business practices to ensure successful sales outcomes
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Self-motivated individual with a sense of urgency in all sales and service-related activities
- Exceptional communication, presentation, follow-up, negotiation, and closing skills
- Proven success with all aspects of the sales cycle
- Background in working with and selling solutions to local government
- Ability to travel at least 30% of the time or as circumstances permit

- Proven experience working within local government
- Decisive, independent, and driven individual with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels
- Integrity evident in all interactions, conversations, negotiations, and discussions
- Familiarity or relationships with Esri Regional Offices and their Account Managers
