Account Executive, Mid-Market - Matterport - Toronto, CAN

About Matterport: Matterport is leading the digital transformation of the built world. Our spatial computing platform turns buildings into data to improve planning, construction, operations, documentation, appraisal, and marketing. This role is to sell Matterport products and services across multiple industries in a fast-paced environment.
What you will do
- Proactively look for opportunities to sell the Matterport Product offering
- Build a pipeline of business, including repeat opportunities
- Accurately forecast weekly and monthly sales pipeline
- Engage distributors, understand customer needs, and identify solutions with our product offering
- Attend sales meetings and prepare presentations as required
- Attend relevant trade shows when required
- Demonstrate hardware/software to provide potential customers with details about features and capabilities of our Pro 3D camera
- Prepare RFI, RFQ and RFP responses for distributors, potential customers and management
- Make sales and technical presentations to potential customers (web or on-site)
- Report to Sales Manager with sales progress and pipeline
- Utilize and manage SFDC (Salesforce) to discover leads and create new business
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college. A track record of commitment to prior employers. 5+ years of Enterprise or Mid-Market sales experience. Proven track record in sales or business development. History of achieving revenue-based sales quotas (SAAS, ARR). Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills (in-person and virtual). Candidates must possess a current and valid driver’s license. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. Satisfactory completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with value-based selling using ROI and the MEDDPICC sales methodology. Ability to identify strategic client pains and develop unique value propositions. Strong relationship-building and team-selling skills. Experience in commercial or residential real estate, insurance or restoration, construction, or travel industries; experience at or with technology companies.
