Overview

We are looking for an Account Executive to join our team here in Toronto. You are someone who is ready for a challenge, who is intrigued and excited by an opportunity to work on a large well-known automotive brand.

We are in need of someone who can be a true partner to our client and cross-functional agency team, and to support the larger team to help drive the work forward.

The Team

The McCann Canada account services team is a collective of brave, nimble and smart individuals capable of rising to any occasion. Our goal is to create work that allows brands to play a meaningful role in consumers lives, and adapting with the ever changing automotive industry.

What you will do…
  • Set priorities, organize workstreams, and assume a leadership role for assigned projects.
  • Serve as an expert of the business in order to support the Account Supervisor and help the day-to-day business run smoothly.
  • Own the communication process / timelines with brand, social, production and studio team.
  • Manage a high volume of assets in a fast-paced environment, be able to pivot quickly to manage changes under tight deadlines.
  • Financial management and keeping your finger on budgets and fiscal status.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients as well as agency disciplines within the Strategy and Production teams.
Who you will be…
  • 1 year of agency experience required.
  • Automotive experience is an asset.
  • Critical thinking – ability to onboard and comprehend information in context and appropriately apply it to move things forward.
  • Crisp thinker and communicator – verbally, visually and in writing.
  • Proactive, curious, self-motivated.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area required (not necessarily advertising).
