Overview

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will act as a dedicated finance partner for the Fusion and GRC & Effectiveness teams. Your mission is to ensure strong financial oversight and operational effectiveness across security-related technology and business initiatives. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial management, from rigorous month-end closing to complex forecasting and strategic business case preparation. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who can identify risks, recommend cost-reduction solutions, and drive continuous process improvements in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead the end-to-end forecasting and planning cycles for the Chief Security Office; provide detailed variance analysis and insights into operating results.
  • Management Reporting: Develop and deliver high-quality financial reports and dashboards that enable informed decision-making by senior management.
  • Month-End Close: Execute month-end financial activities with a focus on integrity, accuracy, and strict adherence to corporate accounting standards.
  • Business Case Advisory: Support business partners in preparing business cases by validating financial assumptions, funding requirements, and ongoing operating cost estimates.
  • Strategic Guidance: Identify potential financial issues or risks and proactively recommend mitigation strategies and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Process Improvement: Champion a continuous improvement mindset by streamlining financial workflows and enhancing the use of reporting tools.
Qualifications
  • Education: Undergraduate or graduate degree in Finance, Business, or Economics is required.
  • Experience: 4–6 years of experience in financial operations, including management reporting, forecasting, and month-end close.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced MS Excel skills and experience with Essbase are essential. Hands-on experience with OnePlan, SAP, and banking financial systems (specifically CMR/IPS) is highly preferred.
  • Designations (Nice to Have): A professional accounting or analyst designation (CPA, CA, CGA, CMA, or CFA) is an asset.
  • Industry Knowledge: Prior experience supporting Technology or Cybersecurity functions is a significant advantage.
  • Soft Skills: Superior analytical skills and the ability to articulate complex financial issues to non-financial business partners.
