Probation or Trial Period: 520 hours of service

Brandon University invites applications to work as Food Services Workers at events held in the Healthy Living Centre.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Providing food and beverages to customers in a timely and clean fashion; ensuring quality of food and beverage products by maintaining appropriate temperatures and other food handling procedures; maintaining a clean, approachable work environment; providing exceptional customer service to ensure an overall positive fan experience; maintaining a level of professionalism associated with the Bobcat brand and associated events; other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:

To be successful in this role, previous experience working with cash, issuing change, and balancing a cash register are assets; as well as previous experience preparing or serving food an asset. Smart Choices certification is required.

Work shifts will be scheduled between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. This is a casual position beginning January 5, 2026, until August 31, 2026.

This position is subject to a Child Abuse Registry Check and Criminal Record Check. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. These checks must be submitted in accordance with the Policy in order to maintain employment.
