A community-focused organization in Northwestern Ontario is seeking a Casual Residential Addiction Worker. This role involves facilitating programming and support for individuals in addiction recovery, as well as ensuring their safety and well-being. Candidates must have a college diploma in addictions and relevant experience. Flexible work hours and a valid Class “G” driver’s license are required, along with a Criminal Records Check upon hiring.
Under the direction of the Post Treatment Manager, the Casual Residential Addiction Worker will carry out programming and lectures as per schedule; facilitate groups; orientate new clients to the center and program, transport clients to essential appointments (i.e. medical appointments); maintain daily recording in log book; case notes; ensures the safety and well-being of the clients, and the security of the center in the provision of programming.
