Responsibilities:

• Implement commercial/pricing plans and processes for the development of proposals and commercial/pricing programs to understand customer needs, determine appropriate commercial/pricing for the business, and enhance the competitive position of the business offerings.
• Develop complex, competitive, and consistent commercial/pricing proposals according to commercial/pricing policies and standards across customers, products, and countries.
• Prepare efficient responses to commercial/pricing requests and monitor the performance of commercial/pricing requests.
• Implement tools, procedures, and databases to systematize the commercial/pricing process, profitability analysis, benchmarking, and price simulation.
• Apply the price setting process and analyze commercial/pricing requests to achieve the highest quality standards and internal controls.
• Examine profitability and rate levels for existing and potential business and commercial/pricing, and provide management reports.
• Advise and make recommendations for commercial/pricing decisions.
• Document complex price proposals and communicate them to relevant stakeholders according to standards.
• Analyze to understand the competitive landscape and identify target market position by geography, market segment, customer group, etc.
• Identify trends and develop recommendations for improvements that deliver higher quality and/or lower cost.
• Provide support on issues and problems from less experienced/new team members, providing direction and guidance as needed.

Requirements:

• Recognized subject matter expert in the job area, typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
• Manage large projects or processes with limited oversight from the manager.
• Problems faced are difficult and often complex.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, International Trade, or related fields.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong Excel skills.
