Job summary
A leading data solutions firm is hiring a Senior Data Engineer specializing in clinical trials and pharmaceutical data. This remote position requires strong experience in designing data pipelines and integrating clinical trial management systems (CTMS), electronic data capture (EDC), and electronic trial master files (eTMF). The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in data engineering and must be skilled in AWS and data standards relevant to clinical trials.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical or clinical trial data environments.
- Hands-on experience with CTMS, EDC, and eTMF systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain data pipelines for clinical trial data.
- Integrate data from CTMS, EDC, and eTMF systems.
- Support analytics and reporting in regulated (GxP) environments.
- Collaborate with clinical operations, biostatistics, and IT teams.

🚨 We’re Hiring | Senior Data Engineer – Clinical Trials (Pharma) 🚨
🌎 Remote | Nearshore | LATAM
We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer with hands‑on experience in clinical trials and pharmaceutical data environments to support ongoing and upcoming projects.
This is a domain‑specific role — strong cloud skills are required, but clinical trial experience is mandatory.
- Designing and maintaining data pipelines for clinical trial data
- Integrating data from CTMS, EDC, and eTMF systems
- Supporting analytics and reporting in regulated (GxP) environments
- Collaborating with clinical operations, biostatistics, and IT teams
- âś… 5+ years as a Data Engineer
- âś… Experience in pharma / clinical trials (this is a must)
- ✅ Hands‑on with CTMS, EDC, eTMF
- âś… Strong AWS experience (Glue, Airflow, Athena, EMR)
- âś… Databricks / Spark , SQL, Python
- âś… Familiarity with CDISC / SDTM and regulated data standards
