Assist the Chief Electrician in the installation, maintenance and repair of all electrical equipment onboard the vessel. Perform daily inspections and maintenance on electrical equipment. Comply with the permit to work and isolation systems. Carry out periodic maintenance and other specified tasks during scheduled maintenance activities.

We are seeking qualified Electricians for our fleet in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The Marine Electrician must ensure the safe and reliable operation of onboard electrical/electronic equipment, following instructions from the Chief Engineer and Second Engineer.

• Maintaining electric and electronic equipment on the vessel.
• Keeping the Electrician’s engine log book and planned maintenance system updated with all repairs and controls carried out.
• Preparing the handover report for the next crew.
• Carrying out periodic maintenance as part of scheduled maintenance activities.

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

• Operating, maintaining and repairing electrical equipment on the rig and at camp.
• Managing the electrical team.
• Participating in pre‑tour and toolbox meetings.
• Maintaining equipment in safe working order and reporting deviations.
• Performing preventative and corrective maintenance in coordination with the Chief Mechanic and Rig Manager.
• Writing analytical reports.
• Supporting the development of employees, mentoring others as required.
• Setting annual objectives for employees and reviewing them periodically.
• Participating in HSE audits.
