Job summary
A leading crypto exchange is seeking a Customer Support Representative to assist users with inquiries and account issues. The role requires proficiency in Portuguese and English and aims to provide excellent service across various platforms. Candidates should have experience in online customer support and be familiar with the finance industry. This full-time remote position may require flexibility with schedules, including nights and weekends.
Qualifications
- Experience in online customer support roles, preferably in finance.
- Ability to quickly learn derivatives trading terminology.
- Experience in de-escalating high-tension customer interactions.
Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries via live chat and email.
- Assist with KYC verification and account security setup.
- Collaborate with technical teams for complex cases.
- Stay updated on futures trading rules and communicate risks.
- Adapt to shift schedules when necessary.

- Handle customer inquiries via live chat, email, and other channels regarding accounts, trading, payments, etc.
- Assist customers with KYC verification, account security setup, and dispute resolution.
- Accurately document and elevate customer issues, collaborating with technical teams for complex cases.
- Stay updated on futures trading rules and promptly communicate platform announcements / risk alerts (training provided).
- Adapt to shift schedules (if required) to ensure coverage during target market hours.
- Willing to work weekends and irregular hours which will include night shifts.
- Have an online customer support experience, and proficiency in tools like Zendesk / LiveChat.
- Fast learner, able to master derivatives trading terminology quickly.
- Patient, resilient, and skilled in de‑escalating high‑tension situations.
- Familiarity with Brazilian / Portuguese user communication styles; finance or customer service experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English is essential.
