Senior Software QA Engineer
Location : Brazil

- Test Planning & Execution – Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand requirements, acceptance criteria, and potential risks.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases covering functional, regression, integration, and performance scenarios.
- Perform manual testing for exploratory, usability, and edge‑case scenarios.
- Test Automation – Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites (UI, API, and regression).
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality feedback.
- Monitor and maintain test results, ensuring failures are triaged quickly.
- Defect Tracking & Reporting – Log, prioritize, and track defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure Linear).
- Partner with developers to reproduce, debug, and verify fixes.
- Provide clear reporting on test coverage, pass/fail rates, and quality trends.
- Quality Advocacy – Participate in design reviews, backlog grooming, and sprint planning to identify potential issues early.
- Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and prevent defects.
- 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, Software Tester, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in writing automated tests using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
- Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
- Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
- Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
