Ubiminds is assisting a company that is building an exciting new product suite for Public Safety.

We’re looking for a highly technical Product Manager to join a small, senior team and help define and drive a data-heavy product from day one.

This role is ideal for someone who is deeply curious about data, comfortable working hands‑on with technical concepts, and passionate about building clean, reliable, and well‑structured reporting products.

You won’t be managing people — instead, you’ll own the product, backlog, and discovery process, working closely with engineers and stakeholders to shape the solution.

• Helping define requirements and understand all technical and data‑related moving parts.


• Own the product backlog: write clear and well‑structured tickets, ensure board hygiene, and keep priorities aligned with business goals.


• Act as a technical Product Manager, working closely with engineers on architecture, data flows, and implementation trade‑offs.


• Deeply understand and discuss data pipelines, ETL processes, and data consumer use cases.


• Write and review SQL queries to validate data, support analysis, and ensure accuracy of reports.


• Ensure good RESTful API practices and proper integration between backend services, data platforms, and consumers.


• Be a power user of data platforms and BI/reporting tools, with strong opinions about report quality, consistency, and usability.


• Represent the needs of data consumers and ensure reporting delivers clear, reliable, and actionable insights.

• Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager / Product Manager in technical or data‑driven environments.


• Strong technical background, with the ability to engage deeply in discussions with engineering teams.


• Solid understanding of data platforms, analytics, and reporting systems.


• Ability to write and validate SQL queries.


• Familiarity with ETL concepts, data pipelines, and downstream data consumers.


• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and system integrations.


• Experience working with BI tools or data warehouses (Snowflake or similar).


• Strong backlog management, requirement definition, and prioritization skills.


• Comfortable working in fast‑paced discovery environments with ambiguity.


• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).

• Background as a data analyst, analytics engineer, or data‑focused engineer turned PM.


• Experience with Snowflake or modern cloud data platforms.


• Strong opinions about data modeling, reporting standards, and analytics best practices.


• Experience working in early‑stage or undefined‑solution projects.


• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum environments as a Product Owner or TPM.

• Small, senior cross‑functional team focused on discovery and early product definition.


• Extremely close collaboration with engineers and architects.


• Strong emphasis on data quality, report hygiene, and consumer‑driven analytics.


• Lightweight process, high autonomy, and strong ownership mindset.
