The role is a Fixed Income & Rates Technology Specialist supporting mission-critical front-office trading platforms during LATAM trading hours (GMT-6). The position combines Production Support, QA Testing, and L2 Engineering, with primary focus on live trading support and secondary involvement in testing and engineering activities.
Location: São Paulo, SP, Brazil (Avenida Presidente Juscelino Kubitschek, 2235)
- Provide front-office production support for Fixed Income products (Bonds, Swaps, Inflation-linked instruments).
- Act as the main point of contact for traders and business users, owning incidents from triage through resolution.
- Perform root cause analysis across the full trade lifecycle and implement workarounds during live trading.
- Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing, including P&L and risk validation.
- Manage defects and test cases using Jira/Xray.
- Support application delivery, minor enhancements, bug fixes, and proactive monitoring.
- Strong Fixed Income markets expertise (Bonds, Swaps, Credit, Govies, Futures).
- Experience with front-office trading systems, eTrading and OTC workflows.
- Solid understanding of pricing, risk, and market data feeds.
- Ability to communicate clearly with traders under pressure.
- Exposure to SQL, scripting, log analysis, and basic programming (Python/Java/JS).
- Familiarity with cloud, microservices, messaging systems, and databases is a plus.
