Job Purpose
Plan and coordinate national and international logistical operations, understanding all variables involved in import and export processes, drawback, repatriation, national transportation, liaising with freight agents, customs brokers, carriers, operators of customs-controlled areas, and cargo terminals. The goal is to ensure deliveries are made within required deadlines and in compliance with current legislation, both domestically and internationally, following TechnipFMC principles and rules, while seeking to optimize the entire logistics chain using LEAN philosophy.
Job Description
- Develop and support complex import, export, and national transportation operations for Analysts, and improve existing activities.
- Review Logistics & Transportation processes to eliminate waste, reduce costs, and continuously improve import, export, and national logistics processes.
- Support the commercial team with logistics costs for proposal preparations and bid responses.
- Act as an internal consultant on national logistics, import, and export issues.
- Identify and evaluate the best logistics providers and processes for company operations.
- Engage with public authorities as needed to clarify questions regarding TechnipFMC's import, export, and transportation procedures.
- Conduct root cause analysis to assess processes with unsatisfactory results, utilizing TechnipFMC's quality system tools.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills, interpersonal relationships, and negotiation abilities.
- Possess solid knowledge of Incoterms.
- Understand customs clearance procedures for import and export, along with Brazilian customs regulations.
- Have experience with maritime and air import/export operations, including knowledge of required documentation. Maritime experience should include container import; knowledge of break bulk is a plus.
- Experience with national road and maritime transportation, including familiarization with relevant documentation. Knowledge of barge transportation routines is a differential.
- Be familiar with Lean tools.
