We are looking for an experienced and proactive Country Manager to join our global legal team and lead enforcement efforts in Brazil.

You’ll work closely with global legal and business teams, directly protecting the rights of some of the world's most recognized brands.

This is a role with complete ownership for driving our expansion in Brazil.

We need a manager with a legal background who knows how to create processes from scratch in a startup environment, rather than an established corporation. The ideal candidate will effectively lead people, design and scale operations, and be highly results-driven.

BrandMonitor is a global legal-tech company focused on the protection of intellectual property rights across the world. We proudly represent over 450 international brands across industries like fashion, luxury goods, electronics, and more — in their fight against counterfeiting and IP violations.

Our legal operations span Europe, Asia, MENA and Latin America , and we are now expanding our legal team in China.

• Be responsible for meeting the revenue plan and the target number of enforcement actions (purchases, claims, and lawsuits);
• Achieve operational profitability for the project;
• Rebuild the team, organize rapid onboarding, and ensure the team achieves target performance indicators;
• Develop operational and hiring regulations for project scaling (increasing the number of protected brands, successful cases, and compensation amounts);
• Negotiate with counterfeit sellers and ensure compliance with settlement agreements and court decisions;
• Organize regular, predictable seizures of counterfeit goods with law enforcement agencies in the region;

Ensure the legality of all activities and provide accurate reporting to the government and the head office.

• Degree in Law / Experience in a management position at a law firm;
• Project management experience 2-3 years;
• Experience in building processes from scratch;
• Knowledge of Intellectual Property - an advantage;
• Leadership, responsibility, decision-making ability, multitasking skills;

Fluent in Portuguese and English B2.
